IVY BANK SCHOOL

“Having searched high and low on the internet for suitable bean bags, I came across ‘Full-of-beans’. What a find, a great choice of bags and soft equipment, suitable for all occasions. Despite having to change our order a couple of times, the service we received was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble and we were kept informed of progress every step of the way. I would not hesitate to recommend this company, a very efficient outfit!  The bean bags look fab and the children are fighting to sit on them!”

KAIRO KONKO

In December 2008, we were approached by Ruth Farmer to help with a project in Soma, West Africa.  Ruth was planning a trip to Kaira Konko with her local Scout Group in Hampshire and wanted a play parachute to give the children who live there.  We supplied 2 parachutes so that more children could join in the fun & games.  Below is an excerpt from a letter Ruth sent us on her return.

“My trip to Gambia was wonderful, such friendly people!  The parachutes were a great success with all ages.  I wish the photos could convey the absolute wonder & joy on their faces.  There are no toys in Soma, but how quickly they devised their own games around the parachutes.  Thank you for suggesting that we took two, thus allowing more children to play at one time.  You have been so helpful and interested in the project.  There is so much to be done in Soma, Gambia, I hope to go again in 2 year’s time and will be in touch with you for more of your brilliant ideas and play equipment.”

If you would like more information on this project, visit their website, www.kairakonko.com.  You can even visit yourself and help on a project for a few days!
